Clothing Return & Refund Policy

Our Returns Policy forms part of, and must be read in conjunction with, our over-all Terms and Conditions of Sale

Bolus Distribution is committed to making sure our customers are completely satisfied with their purchase and adheres to the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa. We gladly offer a 10-Day Return Policy.

Bolus Distribution recognises that it can sometimes be difficult to choose the correct items online and we want to make sure you’re completely satisfied with your purchasing experience with Bolus.

Our Refunds and Exchanges Policy is all about making it simpler for you to return anything that’s ‘not quite right’.

WRONG ITEM / SIZE ORDERED:

Please indicate where you would like us to collect from, in which case a courier charge of R65 will be levied for main Regional areas and Bolus Distribution will inform you if there are additional charges for outlying areas. Alternatively, please let us know if you will be using your own delivery means to return the item to us.

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item to us in its original condition and packaging within 10 days of receipt.

Returned items should be unused and must be returned in original packaging meaning (Bolus Distribution Box + Fly bag).

Should the item be returned in the original condition we will gladly either Credit or exchange the item for you.

We will issue Your Credit on receipt of the product and reviewed by Bolus Distribution’s Quality controllers, excluding the original delivery charge.

Alternatively, if preferred, we will exchange the item.

Please note:

  1. Goods will only be accepted for return if they are dispatched within 10 days of delivery, unless we have notified you otherwise.
  2. The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. Therefore for your own protection we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods.
  3. The cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility.
  4. Delivery charges are only refundable where goods are faulty and a refund is made (please view our general Return and Refund Policy.

Please note our Quality Controllers check the quality and will not send faulty products out, faulty products will be refunded on only our discretion.

  1. EXCHANGING NON-DEFECTIVE PRODUCT (S)

Within 10-days of your order being delivered to your door, you can exchange the product(s) you ordered for a different size of the exact same product as long as the preferred size being requested is available on www.bolus.co.za . Should you wish to process an exchange please contact Bolus Distribution’s Call Centre on (021) 446-2270 or e-mail us (info@bolus.co.za) (Subject Line: Your order number – Request Exchange).

Should Bolus Distribution not have stock of your preferred size, or if you wish to order a different product, please e-mail us (info@bolus.co.za) (Subject Line: Your order number – Request Exchange). & the product you would like to exchange it for including the product code & size.

Please note Bolus Distribution reserves the right not to accept an exchange if the product you wish to exchange is not sent back to Bolus Distribution in the exact packaging it was received in, with labels attached, in resalable conditions.

  1. RETURNING NON-DEFECTIVE PRODUCT (S)

2.1 Say for certain products that are excluded from this policy (including purchases of underwear, swimwear), you are entitled to return any purchase concluded on Bolus Distribution within 10 days of the product(s) being delivered. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning the item (s), and will not be refunded for the postage costs, unless otherwise stipulated in our Return and Refund Policy. Please see our terms and conditions for Return and Refund Policy for any queries. 

2.2 Consequently, if upon receiving your purchase you are not satisfied with your choice of product(s) and wish to return it for a refund as aforesaid, please retain the product(s)’ original packaging, with labels attached, and do not wear the product. In particular (excluding underwear), please ensure the items are returned in the exact condition they were received in, and in their original packaging, with labels attached.

  1. RETURNING DEFECTIVE PRODUCT (S)

General warranty:

If you find that the product is faulty, not commercially acceptable, unsuitable for the purpose generally intended (or otherwise expressly indicated by Bolus Distribution at time of purchase), or not legal or reasonably durable (based on the circumstances & product type) (“defective”);

3.1 Please contact Bolus Distribution on (021) 446-2270 or e-mail us (info@bolus.co.za) (subject line: your order number – defective item) to notify Bolus Distribution thereof. Bolus Distribution will request pictures of the defective product and will arrange to collect such product from you so that it can be inspected by the Bolus Distribution’s Quality Assurance team. If the product is subsequently found to indeed be defective, you are entitled to either –

(a) Be Refunded, or

(b) have the product replaced at Bolus Distribution’s expense (the decision of replacing being that of Bolus Distribution’s depending on availability & other relevant circumstances, and in this regard you acknowledge that Sale / On Special products will usually only be able to be repaired).

If the product is found NOT to be defective and is commercially acceptable, you will NOT be entitled to any replacement or refund but will instead be liable for the costs incurred in having had such product returned to Bolus Distribution, and then redelivered to you.

3.2 A product is NOT defective and you will NOT be entitled to a replacement or refund under the general warranty above if:

(a) The faults / damage are a result normal wear and tear;

(b) Damage arising from incorrect usage of the product;

(c) The item has a reasonable amount of manufacturing or production imperfections, but is acceptable in accordance with the generally accepted commercial practices.

  1. EXCLUSIONS

Unless defective, the following product types may not under any circumstances be returned to Bolus Distribution:

4.1 Non-defective products that have been “made to order”. (You will be notified in the relevant Online Sale if the products are “made to order”.)

4.2 For hygiene reasons, due to their nature: non-defective Underwear.

4.3 Products that you or any other person has altered, repaired, incorporated or added to where such alteration, repair, incorporation or addition has not been authorised by Bolus Distribution.
